AOL Video: Neurosurgeon Claims He Saw Heaven

"
Neurosurgeon Dr. Eben Alexander was in a coma for a week from a rare form of bacterial meningitis. Dr. Alexander told "Good Morning America" it was during this time that he traveled to Heaven. Blogger Sam Harris highly doubts Alexander's claims, and says it sounds as though he knows nothing about brain science. Dr. Alexander says he was a faith skeptic before his ordeal, and also believes he met a long-lost sister in Heaven he never knew he had.      "

I saw this AOL video this past Friday but I had already seen an article about this doctor several weeks ago on Yahoo as a matter of fact. It's interesting to hear how critics will attack someone who is a highly trained and experienced Medical Doctor and claim that "he knows nothing about the brain". I feel that comment was aimed as an attack rather than a professional analysis of the doctor's statements of his life-altering experience.

Here is the Yahoo article I saw a while back:

And here is Dr. Eben Alexander's book that was published just five days ago on Tuesday; October 23, 2012.
